South African born and Canadian grown, Yusuf is currently completing his Master of Arts in Political Science at the University of Toronto. Yusuf graduated from the University of Toronto, Scarborough with a degree in Political Science and History. Prior to starting his masters, Yusuf has worked on numerous academic and conducted field-related research on refugees and immigration-related projects in Canada. During the course of his graduate and undergraduate studies, Bulbulia has been taught, mentored, and worked directly with leading security experts in the academic field at the University of Toronto. Yusuf’s research interests are on military intervention, ethnic and racial conflict, refugees and forced migration, and American and Global responses to refugees. Following the completion of his Masters, Yusuf is planning on pursing a Ph.D.
