Mohamed Kharbach, is a doctoral candidate in Education at Mount Saint Vincent University. He is working on the discourse of terrorist groups using ISIS as a case study. Coming from a background of linguistics and language study, his research focus is on the language of terrorism and more specifically the discursive construction of extremist ideologies. Critical discourse analysis is the analytical framework he uses in his research and it is also the main methodology underlying his current doctoral dissertation.
