Mackenzie Hart

Non-Academic Affiliate

Mackenzie completed an MA in Terrorism, Security and Society from King’s College London in 2018. Her dissertation analysed the manifesto of the far-right youth organisation Generation Identity. Mackenzie’s areas of interest are the ideology and evolution of the far-right and in particular the involvement of youth/children in right wing extremism, as well as CVE programmes in developing countries. Hart is currently working as an intern at the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation (ICSR), where she is compiling a database of female experts in the field of Terrorism and Security. After the ICSR, she plans to search for further research opportunities outside of academia before returning to pursue her PhD. She is particularly interested in exploring the far-right in the Canadian context.
