Dr. Carlo Morselli is a Professor in the École du Criminologie at the Université de Montréal. He teaches courses and pursues research in the areas of criminal networks, illegal markets, co-offending, organized crime, and general criminology.
His research as a scholar has led to regular collaborations with government agencies such as Justice Canada, Public Safety Canada, and the Quebec Public Security Ministry. His contributions have been primarily in the area of criminal network analysis, and some reports have addressed more general issues such as the mobility of criminal groups, illegal firearm markets, prison population estimates, the use of social networking media by criminal groups, and assessments of various illegal drug markets. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Global Crime.
