Brody McDonald is a PhD/DPhil student at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. His research interests include conflict, governance, and online communications. He recently completed his MPhil in History at the University of Cambridge and is affiliated with the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab) Digital Sherlocks programme. He previously served as a Policy Advisor to the Government of Canada and is an Associate Member of Chatham House in London. Using his unique background in both government and academia, he is interested in helping formulate more effective and data-based public policy responses.
