Brody McDonald is a PhD/DPhil student at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. His research interests include conflict, governance, and online communications. He recently completed his MPhil in History at the University of Cambridge and is an Associate Fellow of the Global Network on Extremism & Technology (GNET). He previously served as a Policy Advisor to the Government of Canada and is an Associate Member of Chatham House in London. Using his unique background in both government and academia, he is interested in helping formulate more effective and data-based public policy responses.
