Stephanie Dawson

Junior Affiliate (PhD)

Stephanie Dawson is a PhD candidate in the School of Criminology at Simon Fraser University.

She has been the primary research assistant on the TSAS working paper dedicated to understanding how we can estimate the number of extremists in Canada, she has been involved in a few informal research projects geared toward assessing a variety of aspects related to terrorism. For instance, she worked on a paper aimed at assessing the existence of a terrorist personality, as well as one looking at the prevalence of lone wolf terrorists. Aside from this research, she has also acted as the teaching assistant for the terrorism course at Simon Fraser University for three years.
