Paul Joosse is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Hong Kong.
He previously completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Sociology at the University of Alberta, Canada.
Dr Joosse has published on terrorism, lone wolves, foreign fighters, radical environmentalism, religion, and classical sociological theory in journals such as Terrorism and Political Violence, British Journal of Criminology, Crime Media Culture, Sociology of Religion, Journal of Classical Sociology, and Journal of Contemporary Religion. Current interests include inspirational processes in radicalization to terrorism and lone actor violence.
