Joe Landry

Junior Affiliate (PhD)

Joe Landry is a PhD candidate in the Norman Peterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University. He is also a Kanishka Research Affiliate with Public Safety Canada.

His research focuses on terrorism in fragile states including transnational instances of terrorism originating from such environments, as well as the effective policy responses Canada and our allies can utilize to deal with these modern security challenges. Previous research efforts include examining the effects of terrorism on civil war outbreak, the results of which have been presented at a number of conferences and are currently under review for publication in a prominent academic journal.
