Huseyin Akdogan

Senior Research Affiliate

Huseyin Akdogan is a lecturer in the Hague University of Applied Science in the Netherlands.
He was previously employed with Institute of Security Sciences in Ankara. We also worked as a senior researcher at UTSAM (International Research Center for Terrorism and Transnational Crime) at Turkish National Police Academy (TNPA).
Akdogan graduated from TNPA with a B.A. degree in Criminal Justice and Management in 1998. He earned a master’s degree from the Institute of Security Sciences in 2005. He gained his Ph.D. in Public Administration from the Department of Public Administration of the University of North Texas in 2009. He has taught associate, undergraduate and graduate level courses at TNPA, University of North Texas, Nigde Police Vocational School, and Elmadag Police Vocational School. In addition he has taught, “Public Administration”, “Leadership”, “Police Management”, “Terrorism”, “Human Rights”, and “Research Methods” courses at undergraduate level, and “Statistics in Social Sciences”, “Research Methods in Social Sciences” at graduate level.
He is alsoan external expert for ERASMUS+ and HORIZON2020 project calls by European Union.
