Erin Osterberg

Junior Affiliate (PhD)

Erin is a PhD student in the Department of Geography at UBC. The post 9/11 securitization of borders, combined with the policy options and response initiatives, as they pertain to state responses to terrorism are an important consideration throughout her areas of research. She is specifically interested in policy responses to terrorism as they pertain to immigration, mass arrivals by sea, and the partnerships among government agencies that have seemingly developed in response to perception of risks, and realized threat of terrorism in the past fifteen years.
