Ehiane O Stanley is a Research Fellow at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa. He holds PhD in International Relations from the same university. He also holds master’s and Bachelor (Hons) degrees in Politics, Master of Business Administration-(MBA) and PGD in Educational Management. Ehiane received training under United Nations Peace Operation Training Institute (POTI) on Peacekeeping and International Conflict Resolution and Disarmament, Demobilisation and Reintegration (DDR). He also attended training on Peacebuilding through Community Development at Canadian Mennonite University, Manitoba, Canada. He won a three years’ doctoral scholarship awarded of the National Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences-Council for the Development of Social Science in Africa NIHSS-CODESRIA. He has published in both local and international journals. His research interest rest lie in the fields of Terrorism, counter-terrorism, migration, Peace and conflict and democracy and Governance.
