Dr Daniel Alati is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminology at Ryerson University.
Dr Alati’s has published three articles, and focused much of his doctoral work, on the development and implementation of terrorism and national security policy in Canada (and in the United Kingdom). Moreover, he is presently collaborating on a paper entitled “Using Secret Evidence in Canadian Courts”. He has secured a book publishing contract with UK publisher Routledge to publish his doctoral work, an in-depth analysis of anti-terrorism and national security strategies in Canada and the UK. Having returned home to Canada to take up an Assistant Professorship at Ryerson University, his future research plans have a more Canadian focus.
