Catherine is a Nurse Clinician whose roles have encompassed Research, Program Development and Clinical Educator in a diverse clinical practices to promote health & resilience for those within diverse socioeconomic and multiethnic-multicultural settings. This includes individuals & families entering Canada as refugees and new immigrants. Assessments and supportive care that are client based and facilitate client tailored program/resources & education to people that self identify, or are identified as “at risk” or marginalized.
Catherine collaborates with Dr Rick Parent as researcher, writer and co-author of several major reports related to Police Involved Shootings, Mental Health, & Community Policing Practices, Immigration trends and Diaspora communities – engaging and promoting healthy communities; eg. Police and Community Services for At Risk Youth.
