Bryan Roh

Junior Affiliate (Masters)

As a Master of Public Policy candidate at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, Roh is interested in how the Canadian government will respond to the growing number of cyber threats against Canada’s critical infrastructure sectors. There exist security vulnerabilities inherent within critical infrastructure systems (e.g. power grid systems) that have the potential to be exploited by foreign cyber actors who wish to inflict harm and disrupt the essential services that the country’s critical infrastructure sectors provide to Canadians.

He would like the opportunity to network with policy professionals and scholars in similar fields of study at TSAS, potentially collaborate on relevant research projects, and actively contribute towards advancing knowledge on the importance of protecting Canada’s critical infrastructure sectors from malicious cyber actors. He hopes to build a strong knowledge base to successfully pursue a career as a policy analyst on cybersecurity and cyber-terrorism.
