Alexa Hassan previously worked at Moonshot CVE for over two years, specialising in mental health, right-wing extremism and interventions. Currently, she is working at John Howard Society of Ontario researching criminal justice issues as well as helping to expand their CVE programming. Alexa completed an MSc Countering Organised Crime and Terrorism at UCL and conducted research into the leakage of lone actor terrorists. Her research examined 74 lone actor terrorists and using opensource data, and examined whether they had told anyone about their plans prior to their attack.
