James Ellis

Non-Academic Affiliate

James Ellis is currently the project lead for the TSAS Canadian Incident Database. He was previously the manager for the Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism (MIPT) – a non-profit funded by the US Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security. At MIPT, he managed a 35-project, $85+million dollar research program covering information technology, scientific, and social scientific projects as well as exercises and conferences.

He has developed curriculum for an Executive Leadership Seminar on Terrorism, and coordinated exercises for Federal, State, local, and private sector officials.
